Rosehip oil is a carrier or base oil which is suitable for almost all skin. This oil is rich in essential fatty acids and Vitamin A and its nourishing, regenerating and firming properties abilities make it perfect for dull, dry and damaged skin. It improves the skin texture, pigmentation, uneven skin tone and regular use is known to heal the scars. Because of its regenerating properties it is widely used in anti aging serums around the world.
It is a dry oil that absorbed into the skin quickly with out greasy feeling which makes it easy to use. You can use it as moisturizer, add in DIY serums and masks. As it is carrier oil it is safe for every one to use it unlike essential oils which should be used carefully.
The plant is mostly available in South America, Europe and Asia. It is made from seeds of round red fruit and not from roses so do not expect it to be smell like roses. This oil have no distinguished smell as it is produced form the seeds, it has warm earthy light smell which fades quickly after application. This oil have dark orange color and it can become rancid faster in pure form so better to place it fridge.
