ColourPop No Filter Foundation Stix - Review and Swatches
I love trying new foundations and have shared my favorite drugstore foundations for summers and best high end foundations which now also include Tarte rainforest of the sea waters foundation. However i have tried only one stick foundation called Kryolan tv paint stick and wanted to know if there are good alternatives available. When ColourPop released their No Filter Foundation Stix, i knew i had to try it. So let me tell you, if it was worth trying or not.

Swatch of ColourPop No Filter Foundation Stix in Light 50 WMy Thoughts
The packaging with white and silver bullet is sleek, sturdy and beautiful which works similarly to any other foundation stick, twist up from bottom and cap closes with click which makes it travel friendly as well. The formula is thick creamy and definitely less drier then Kryolan TV paint stick but not too soft to easily break down. It glides easily and can be blended with fingers, sponge or kabuki brushes. There is no any noticeable smell which is amazing as well.

The best way to use it, is to apply stick all over the face. If you like light to medium coverage, apply small patches else for full coverage you can apply it all over your face and then go for blending. As i said it is not drying formula, it blends effortlessly much easier the Kryolan TV paint stick. If you have dry skin type, blending with fingers is more good as they will melt the foundation and help blending more easily. For other skins, you can go for Sigma flat top kabuki brush or Sigma 3DHD blender. With damp blender you can achieve medium but natural look while brush can give you more full coverage.

As it is medium coverage foundation, you can get more natural blended out everyday look from it easily but it can be build further into full coverage by applying other coats. After one coat, you can apply it a little here and there on spots which you want to hide like blemishes, dark circles etc. The non drying formula helps more then one coats to adjust instead of caking up.

This foundation doesn't look too matte or dewy on skin, instead it is kind of natural formula which in my opinion will suit all skin types. For more matte look, you can set it with setting powder but without it, it is great for dry skin. With setting powder and setting spray, this foundation lasts for more then 7 hours which is quite good for its non drying, non cakey formula.

Overall i really loved this foundation. Where Kryolan TV pait stick is too drying for me and is hard to blend, this foundation is perfect. It blends effortlessly without being cakey and last quite long as well. The natural finish doesn't make you look too matte or too dewy. It is definitely my new favorite foundation.
