Jul 01, 2017 - Zubaida -
In my haul from ColourPop where i picked few products from pink collection, i got their Pressed Powder shadow palette in Belle of the Ball. The lip bundle Phase 2 from this collection i have already reviewed before and today i am going to share my thoughts on this palette. I have used their super shock shadows and have loved their formula. Lets see how good these new line is.
Starting form the packaging i must say that it is treat for eyes. This palette have cardboard packaging which is white from outside and have stars printed on them. The inside is dark purple with stars as well. There is no mirror or brush available with this palette but the shadow pans can be easily removed and replaced with others.
The pink tones have become quite popular from last year and in eye makeup the palettes with these tones are getting raved like Huda Beauty rose gold palette. Considering you need only few pink tones to create these eye makeup this palette looks more reasonable and while ColourPop have yet to disappoint me, these eyeshadows are amazing as well.
Secrets is defined as matte pale baby pink and is a warm tone light pink shade with amazing pigmentation and texture which you mostly get less from other light matte shades. It is perfect base and highlighter color for fresh and neat look.
Soft Core is defined as matte warm pink and it is a medium coral shade with great pigmentation and texture. It is perfect for crease and you get lovely coral hues in spring summers season.
Fair Play defined as matte hot pink and is a cool tone bright pink shade to neutralize the warm tones. This shade is also have great pigmentation and good texture. It can be used to create depth or pat on lid for glamorous look.
On the Fence defined as frosty pink and is a lovely light lilac shade with amazing frosty finish. The pigmentation and texture is very good for this shades as well. It can be used to pat on lid, inner eye or as highlighter.
Above eye look is created with all shades of this palette and you can find more details of this look at Soft pink eye look.
Overall the texture of these shadows is amazing, there is very less fallout and apply beautifully. None of the shade is chalky and have smooth formula which blends beautifully. If you have hard time working with matte shadows in other palettes, you are going to love working with ColourPop formula.
ColourPop Pressed Powder Shadow Palette is priced $18.
